Kangaroo Island
The Weather experienced in the Kangaroo Island.
The Kangaroo Island is a large island which ranks third amongst the Australian Islands. It comes after the State of Tasmania Island which is the biggest island. The Melville Island is the second largest.
It is well known as a Surfers Island as it has beautiful spots to aid this sport. Its weather allows for different activities to engage in depending on the season.
The winters in the Kangaroo Island run from the month June to September. They are characterized by mild temperatures influenced by the ocean in a major way. Two thirds of the rain falls between the months of May and September which are the same months for the winter season. The wettest month is July.
The amount of rain that falls in the kangaroo island is roughly between four hundred and fifty millimeters and nine hundred millimeters. A summary of the winter can be said to be mild and wet weather conditions.
As for the summer season, you are likely to experience warm and dry weather. It is important to add at this point that the temperatures of this Island are largely influenced by its proximity to the ocean just as many other areas bordering large water masses. The temperature rarely rises above 35 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature does not rise excessively, the humidity in the air makes it seem hotter than a similar place having the same temperature.
Not to worry though if you are a visitor you will find that most places that offer accommodation have air conditioners fitted for you comfort. Also the same water that makes the place so hot provides a beautiful place to relax as you watch the waves and feel the cool ocean breeze under a patio umbrella.
Kangaroo is land is a nice place to tour any day.
